1. The Challenge

A prominent real estate investment firm conducted long-form interviews with six senior executives. While the 16×9 footage contained valuable insights, it was not suitable for social channels. The client needed to extract specific points and personality-driven moments, repurposing them into a series of bite-sized, vertical videos.

2. The Solution

For this project the client identified high-impact soundbites – punchy, informative, or inspiring moments – that could stand alone as 30-60 second narratives. I cut the longer, landscape interviews into shorter vertical videos.

  • Format Adaptation: I reframed the original 16×9 wide shots into 4:5 vertical format tailored for LinkedIn, ensuring the subjects remained centred with enough breathing room for the LinkedIn user interface and captions.

3. The Production Process

  • The “Core Values” Edit: In addition to individual spotlights, I edited a montage weaving together answers from all six subjects regarding the firm’s core values, creating a unified brand anthem.
  • Branding Package: To ensure the series felt cohesive, I applied opening/closing bumpers and lower thirds that matched the firm’s corporate branding.

4. The Results

First cuts were available within 48 hours. Deliverables included 11 assets consisting of individual thought-leadership clips for each team member and a flagship “Core Values” compilation. The project extended the life and reach of a single afternoon shoot, providing weeks’ worth of ready-to-post content.
