The Challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Securing a grant from Australia\u2019s Financial Counselling Industry Fund is highly competitive. I was asked to create a grant application video for Community SOS Central Coast\u2019s Statement of Financial Position software that would stand out against a crowded field of applicants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The video had to clearly and persuasively articulate a complex project proposal, demonstrating both its real-world context and its future potential, all within a concise and engaging format that met the grant committee&#8217;s strict criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. The Solution<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The video frames the initiative on a national scale, opening with an AI-generated view of Australia from space, accented by orbiting satellites. We then execute a Google Earth Studio zoom, landing at the Community SOS Central Coast office. The scene shifts to a councillor outlining the core benefits as a Statement of Financial Position software, followed by a cut to a second councillor directly engaging with clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. The Production Process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>VEO3 (Generative AI)<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Establishing shot of Australia from space, complete with satellites.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shot of councillor talking us through the benefits as the Statement of Financial Position software is displayed on her monitor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Second councillor helping clients in his office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Google Earth Studio<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A Google Earth Studio push-in from 30,000 ft above the Community SOS Central Coast office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ElevenLabs (AI Voiceover)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Created the voice of the female Australian councillor, ensuring consistency throughout the application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. The Results<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The video was a massive success. The Community SOS Central Coast application was selected from over 80 applicants to receive the grant, and the software is now being developed as a proof of concept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The video is officially featured on the Financial Counselling Industry Fund website as the benchmark example of a grantee application video to inspire and guide future applicants. Client Perspective<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>I have worked with Glenn for a long time and he consistently delivers exceptional work. He took the time to fully understand what we were trying to do \u2013 then ran with it and came back with an edit that only needed a few changes before we submitted the grant application.
